Sound Barriers Under Construction Along I-265

The residents of Wesley Manor will soon enjoy more peace and quiet as sound barriers along I-265 are now being constructed.  The barriers will be installed between Smyrna Road and Preston Highway.  Also, barriers along the north side of I-265 adjacent to Wesley Manor Retirement are also under construction.  This project was support by Rep. Larry Clark during the 2010 legislative session.  Also work is expected to be completed by July 31, 2011.
