Gov. Beshear Announces AT&T Adding 20 Jobs at Grayson Call Center

Telecommunications company also to add 38 full- and part-time retail positions in six Kentucky communities

FRANKFORT Ky. Governor Steve Beshear has announced  telecommunications company AT&T will add 20 full-time customer service representatives in its East Park call center in Grayson.

AT&T also is hiring an additional 38 full- and part-time positions at retail stores in six Kentucky communities, including Bowling Green, Owensboro, Lexington, Louisville, Corbin and Winchester.

“We’re pleased to see job growth in Kentucky involving such a world-class company as AT&T,” said Gov. Beshear. “These jobs across the state will provide the opportunities many Kentuckians need right now as the economy continues to recover and grow.”

The Grayson area call center, which opened in 2001, currently employs more than 500 people and handles inbound customer sales and service calls, such as billing issues and technical support, for customers across the country. AT&T plans to begin filling positions this month.
