Kentucky Lottery Report to the 46th District
The Kentucky Lottery benefits students and parents in the 46th District through scholarships and grants. For Fiscal Year 2015, District 46 students received 1,150 grants and scholarships worth $1,850,414. This is part of the 19,855 grants and scholarships worth $31,936,085 awarded in Jefferson County.
Colleges and universities also felt the impact of Lottery funds. The University of Louisville saw 10,095 grants and scholarships worth over $17 million used on its campus. In addition, 5,089 grants and scholarships nearly $5 million were used at Jefferson County Community & Technical College, 2,600 grants and scholarships worth over $5.7 million were used at Bellarmine University, 1,488 grants and scholarships worth nearly $3 million were used at Spaulding University and 1,731 grants and scholarships worth $2.8 million were used at Sullivan University.
